Our Story

Celestial Exotics LLC was co-founded in 2020 by Tyler and Maddie - an animal-loving duo in the Metro-Detroit area. United by a passion for animals and education, they met online through content creation in 2017.

They have each been keeping reptiles for over two decades. Their reptile breeding adventure began in 2018 when they hatched their first crested geckos and instantly fell in love.

In September 2020, following a diagnosis of post-covid Dysautonomia, Maddie decided to pour much of what she had into acquiring future breeding animals and formally began Celestial Exotics.

In 2021, they successfully reared their first US captive-bred and born abronia graminea litter from a pair acquired in 2017. In the years that followed, they continued to successfully reproduce abronia graminea, and plan to expand into other abronia species in the future.

• Malaysian Beauty Bent Toed Gecko - Cyrtodactylus elok

• Crested Gecko - Correlophus ciliatus

• Mourning Gecko (Type A and D) - Lepidodactylus lugubris

• Scorpion Tailed Gecko - Pristurus carteri

• Polillo False Gecko - Psuedogekko smaragdinus

• Golden Tailed Gecko - Strophurus taenicauda

• Common Flat Tailed Gecko - Uroplatus fimbriatus

• Top Ender Ackie Monitors - Varanus acanthurus brachyurus

At this time, Celestial Exotics can be at NARBC Schaumburg, NARBC St. Louis, and Tinley Park (March and October) and frequently at the Cin City Reptile Show in West Chester, Ohio. Local meetups are possible in the Detroit Metro or Cincinnati area, and overnight shipping within the lower 48 states when weather permits. Export to many countries is possible. Export arrangements beyond the US must be arranged by the customer.
